Virtual Yoga Mini-Class with Maya: Neck and Shoulder Release

Let’s practice together from afar and release tension in the neck and shoulders through breath, gentle movement, and intentional stretches. In just thirty minutes we’ll explore how to bring ease to these areas that can get tight and restricted. You’ll learn safe and beneficial techniques you can return to anytime.

A Zoom link will be emailed at least one hour before the class start time.

Sliding Scale $10-20 per class

Participants will receive a link to the recording afterwards so you can revisit the practice. If you are unable to attend live, you can still register and gain access to the recording at your convenience.

Meet Your Teacher:

Maya Rook is a certified yoga instructor with nearly 30 years of meditation experience. She received her 200-RYT in 2019 and completed additional certifications in Yin Yoga and Yoga with Seniors. Maya is passionate about making meditation and yoga practices accessible to everyone, breaking through misconceptions about mindfulness, and helping people connect with the present moment through breath and movement. Her yoga and meditation classes are also supported by her work as a cultural historian and college educator. Participants have described Maya’s approach to Yoga as easeful, nurturing, relaxing, and peaceful.
