What to Expect at Yoga Flow
Yoga Flow is a chance to flow with intention and connect with body, breath, and the present moment on the flower farm.
Embrace this opportunity to move some energy around at the end of the day, let something go, and settle into rest. Drawing inspiration from the current astrological season, this class is a holistic experience of meditation and movement. It is suitable for all levels of experiences, and Maya offers variations so you can choose what feels best in your body.

What to Expect at Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a beautiful complement to our more active Yang lifestyles and practices. Here, we slow down and hold poses of stillness, typically for 3-5 minutes, using props for support. The intention of a longer hold on a physical level is to stimulate and nourish the connective tissues and fascia rather than the muscles.
We also work consciously with the breath and the mind-body connection through holding these poses and cultivating awareness of sensations that arise. Yin Yoga draws from Daoism and the Five Element Theory in Traditional Chinese Medicine as different poses relate to specific organs and meridians in the body, supporting and balancing one’s energy.

Where is this Magical Yurt?
The Fogwood Gardens Yurt is located at 725 Old Stage Road in Arrowsic, Maine, less than ten minutes over the bridge from Bath! After class, take advantage of this beautiful area by taking a freshwater swim at nearby Sewall’s Pond or heading over to Georgetown to enjoy the ocean at Reid State Park, hike some trails, or go clamming at Sagadahoc Bay.
