Join us at the Fogwood Gardens Yurt to explore magical practices in community. Expect time to learn, share, and engage in a hands-on practice with different themes and teachers to guide each session.

This gathering of Coven Conversations will be led by Maya Rook and centers around an exploration of the element of Water.

We’ll explore our intuitive connection with this element, as well as how cultures and magical traditions from around the world perceive and work with Water. Through conversation, breath, somatic practice, and experiential learning, we’ll dive into the associated qualities of fluidity, tranquility, stillness, rest, and more, as well as how Water can represent both death and the wellspring of life.

For this session, participants are encouraged to bring an item that represents one of the elements. We’ll use these items to build an altar together, with a special focus on the element of Water as we step into Pisces season.

Maya Rook, creator of Firefly Studio, loves creating space for people to come together explore their own magic in community. Her approach is informed by her experiences as a yoga and meditation teacher, practitioner of natural magic and Buddhism, and work as a cultural historian. You will walk away with a deeper connection to yourself, others, and the world around you.
