Let’s flow with the element of water and discover its wisdom together!
The elements exist within us and all around us. They are always accessible and yet we often feel disconnected from the natural elements in this modern age. Wisdom traditions from cultures around the world offer different approaches for understanding and connecting with the elements, helping us deepen our awareness and integrate them more fully into our daily experiences.
In this workshop, we’ll focus on the element of water and its associated qualities of fluidity, clarity, emotional wisdom, and intuition. Through guided practices and shared reflections, we’ll explore how water exists within our internal and external worlds.
Drawing from the Tibetan Five Wisdom Families, TCM Five Element Theory, yoga, astrology, tarot, and more, this class weaves together a multicultural, interdisciplinary approach to working with the elements. Expect to engage with meditation, movement, discussion, and experiential learning.
We’ll close the session with tea and light refreshments.
This workshop can be taken as a standalone class or as part of the Explore the Elements series, which meets five times throughout the year to focus on a different element.
Sliding scale $40-60 (or $175 to commit to the full series)

Meet Your Teacher:
Maya Rook, creator of Firefly Studio, has cultivated a deep connection with the elements throughout her entire life. She loves exploring the elements through a variety of modalities and creating supportive spaces for others to tap into their intuitive experience of the elements while receiving guidance from more formal approaches and structured traditions.
This workshop series is informed by her experiences as a yoga and meditation teacher, practitioner of natural magic and Tibetan Buddhism, tarot reader, educator, and work as a cultural historian. After attending a session of Explore the Elements, you will walk away with a deeper connection to the elements and a fresh perspective of the world around you.
