Join us at the Fogwood Gardens Yurt to explore magical practices in community. Expect time to learn, share, and engage in a hands-on practice with different themes and teachers to guide each session.
Our first gathering of Coven Conversations will be led by Maya Rook and centers around the question “What is Magic?”
Many people are drawn to magical practices but struggle to understand what we mean by words like magic, witchcraft, paganism, Wicca, and more. With a solid foundation in the history and culture of magic and as a seasoned educator, Maya will offer an overview of these concepts so we can better understand their nuances, similarities, and differences. We’ll work to dispel some common misconceptions about magic and take time to share from our own experiences. This first session of Coven Conversations falls on the New Moon in Capricorn, so we’ll tap into this potent moment in the lunar cycle by setting individual and collective intentions.
Make yourself a warm cup of tea, get cozy at the yurt, and join the conversation! All levels of experience are welcome. Just feeling curious? Come and see if it’s the right fit for you.
