Join us at the Fogwood Gardens Yurt to explore magical practices in community. Expect time to learn, share, and engage in a hands-on practice with different themes and teachers to guide each session.
This session of Coven Conversations will be led by Maria Salcines and Maya Rook. We’ll engage with a practice of energetically planting intentions as Maria guides participants in physically planting flower seeds to take home and cultivate.
Gather in the yurt and join the conversation! All levels of experience are welcome. Just feeling curious? Come and see if it’s the right fit for you.
Sliding scale $25 - $45 per person

Meet Your Hosts:
Maya Rook, creator of Firefly Studio, loves creating space for people to come together explore their own magic in community. Her approach is informed by her experiences as a yoga and meditation teacher, practitioner of natural magic and Buddhism, and work as a cultural historian. You will walk away with a deeper connection to yourself, others, and the world around you.
Maria Salcines runs Fogwood Gardens with her husband, Keith. She is a dreamer, risk taker, and artist. She is also the voice behind a great deal of Fogwood’s writing and networking.
Creating is her life force. Raising all the flowers from seed to harvest, and preserving their beauty with natural drying techniques is an act of honor to herself and the natural world. She is completely self taught throughout her work, which makes it deeply infused with passion and constantly evolving. In addition to Fogwood, she is also the creative behind Silybum Arts, which features her ceramic sculptures.
In her years spent working as a free lance floral designer, she would always steal discarded flowers out of the compost pile the day after an event and take them home to dry. Watching them transition from fresh to everlasting flowers always brought her peace. A sentiment preserved in Time. Thousands of puzzle pieces waiting to fall into place. Countless possibilities for creation.
